Announcing an all-new user experience

Oxford Scholarship Online (OSO) has been re-launched with new features, new content, and a brand new look and feel.

We hope that existing and new users find the site intuitive to use, and we welcome comments.

Users can now:

  • Navigate seamlessly around the site with a brand new look and feel

  • Use new personalization options to speed up the research process

  • Quickly access relevant content with improved search and browse

  • Access seminal and prize-winning titles through the OSO Archive. Contact us to find out more.

  • Access more high quality scholarship from a range of publishers through University Press Scholarship Online

  • Work with the content as they prefer, at the desktop or on the go with PDF Chapter download, citation export, printing, emailing and social bookmarking options

  • Get all the latest information about new titles and features in OSO by subscribing to an RSS feed

  • Quickly link from offline to online content using QR codes on all printed pages

  • Filter search and browse results to see all titles with Full-Text access

  • Limit searches to subject specializations to ensure the content is most appropriate to their fields of research

As well as all the behind-the-scenes features you expect from OSO, including DOIs, MARC records, COUNTER Compliant usage statistics, archiving in PORTICO, OPEN URL compliance and outstanding customer support.

In addition to these new features, Oxford Scholarship Online is now part of the wider monograph platform, University Press Scholarship Online (UPSO). This enables users to cross-search titles from OSO and other university presses, introducing a wider reach of content in the existing subject areas, along with content in new subject areas.
